POST 5: My Future Job

 

I sincerely find work to be one of the worst evils in the world. The word "trabajo" in Spanish comes

 from "Tripalium" which in Latin means "torture". However, since you cannot live without working,

 and criminal life can be very stressful, I think that cinema can be a good way to work. What interests 

me most is editing, art direction and filmmaking.

While I like this profession, I would not like to depend solely on this job, because I would also run the

 risk of hating it. This is why I would like to have a business of any kind, so as not to have to depend on

 the cinema to make money, and thus not have to accept projects reluctantly and misrepresent 

my profession. In this way I could also diversify my hobbies, since I also really like making music, 

traveling and theory. In relation to this last point, I would like to get a doctorate related to art theory, so

 if I get bored of making movies I can dedicate myself to research and publishing in magazines or 

things like that.
